Dress your best, but come prepared for wind and the occasional sideways rain. This is the Swedish west coast, after all. While early September has treated us kindly in recent years, the weather gods may have other plans.

We love your little ones, but our celebration is mostly adults-only. If you’ll be traveling from far away and this is a concern, we’d much rather that you come and bring your kids than miss the celebration. Just let us know, and we’ll work it out together.

If your invitation includes a plus-one, we’d love for them to join. Otherwise, we kindly ask you to stick to the invitation.

Yes! The 2026 Swedish general election takes place on 13 September 2026, the day after our wedding. Democracy is important, so if you’re planning to celebrate with us in Skärhamn, you might want to consider pre-voting (förtidsrösta) ahead of time. That way you can cast your vote and enjoy the festivities without any logistical stress.
